A number of years ago, around 400 miles of mountain bike trails were created in San Vigilio/St. Vigil and its surrounding area in co-operation with Uli Stanciu. The routes are marked by GPS, whether they are easy or difficult, tours of one day or several days. Most of the tours are found in the Fanes-Senes-Braies nature park with its specialised emergency huts and near the village of San Vigilio/St. Vigil. The Dolomite mountains offer some of the most beautiful and inviting landscapes for mountain bike tours. San Vigilio is renowned for its 10 years experience with bikers, as the village has been part of the Transalp Challenge from the beginning, one of the most difficult mountain bike races in Europe. Those who love biking have a number of tours available through roadbooks, GPS tracks and detailed route descriptions.
